  23. Heck no!  As long as it runs Amiga OS and is tapping into the cutting edge
  24. tech, it will be an Amiga.  We're seeing the SVGA chipsets in these third
  25. party video cards as it is and I don't see too many complaintes from folks
  26. using them on their Amigas.  It's the Amiga OS that is the heart and sole of
  27. the Amiga, not some out of date custom chips.  The custom chips were designed
  28. to help out a wimpy 68000 so it wouldn't bog down when running CPU and graphic
  29. intensive programs.  We are now about to tap into some real power, PPC that is
  30. as above the current 680x0 family as the 68000 was above the Z-80.  We don't
  31. need the custom chipsets anymore since the world has finally given us a CPU
  32. that can handle with ease the graphics processing requirements and have
  33. enourmus CPU time left in reserve.
